"Reflection on Audience Awareness"

1.Linda Flower stresses the importance of audience awareness in composing while

Elbow concludes that the question/issue with audience awareness is when. How would you

explain the connections between these two points of view?

Well what i coul connect was the reader; because it is what the writers use to create their writing. In one way or another the author will place him self as the reader.

2.In general, what have you learned from Linda Flower’s and Peter Elbow’s article as a

writer and as a reader? well i have learnd that you must write to suit your self opinion and not to take so much advise as a reader this will provid the writer with the satisfaction of himself. It is not bad to write as a reader just not to do it thrue the whole paper. This alows the reader to get the opinion of the writer but yet still understand the reading.

Q1.You are probably aware of the importance of Rhetorical reading thus far. I would like

to know how you would evaluate your use of rhetorical reading strategies and whether you

will have any plans to improve your rhetorical skills and what are the plans? 

 

Response: I would say that my retorical strategies are good but need alot more work. Beacause of the lack of expirience in my writing. I do have plans on rimproving my strategies but i know it will come with time. I would also like to improve my spelling and and the understanding of the artichles.

Q2.You are also expected to have a good understanding about Writer-Based Prose and

Reader-Based Prose and the difference between them lies in the use of Rhetorical

Strategies. I would like to know how you would differentiate the use of rhetorical strategies

in writing (from reading as above) and what will be your plans to improve your rhetorical

strategies in writing

 

Response: My plans to use the retorical stratagies is to review the based prose and writers prose in order to form a good paper.

One of my concerns has been why we have to check other people’s work you see, I feel that I have to learn how to provide a good comment first. I know that throughout the articles that we have read we have been provided with several techniques on how to place a good comment or on how to revise and edit my essay. I believe that this SQR format would be good if the comments that were placed on my paper were good, but since the comments they place are not in detail I am forced to believe that my peers are not peppered enough to be a good enough critic for my essay. After looking over my essay I saw that I had just made corrections on grammar errors witch I know that I had because I need help on that, taking this into consideration my peers comments were no good to me as far as the structure or organization of my essay. The comments that I left on my peers were good but I know that they lacked on detail. I also thought that maybe one day in class we could sit down and review a paper just so we could see how to place a good comment. I have also heard several of my classmate’s state that they want better comments and seductions’. What I also saw in my peers writing was the lack of understanding of the articles. And most need a lot of help on writing a good sentence. It is also very hard to leave a good comment when the essay doesn’t make sense.
